WHO AM I?
My name is Waddah El-Tahir, and I'm a 25 year old artist based in Brisbane, Australia.
I was born in Sudan in 1997 but was raised in Toowoomba, Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) & Brisbane.
I began to draw in this style I refer to as "Cartoon Nostalgia" after several visionary meditation experiences in 2015/2016 using Cannabis.
Behind closed eyes - I would momentarily glimpse an inner world which has been referred to in several philosophies as: 'The Realm of Ideals' (Platos), 'The Collective Unconscious' (Dr Carl Jung), or 'The Divine Imagination' (Ibn Arabi).
